We can make a difference if we want to.

Something captured my attention yesterday (but now baru nk tulis..hehe) when I visited my customer in Batang Kali. Her room was full of words of wisdom but a poster called "We can make a difference if we want to" caught my eyes. I couldn't recall exactly the story but I will tell you using my own style.

An old man was walking on the beach when he saw a figure from afar. He then take a closer look and a young boy was throwing something into the surf. The old man went to the boy and asked him, "what are you doing?". The boy replied, "I'm throwing the starfish into the ocean. The weather is getting hotter and it will died if its exposed to the hot sun too long".

Old man, "But the surf is miles and miles long, you won't be able to throw all of them back to the sea?". The boy then smiled while picked up the starfish and threw it to the ocean and said, "I've made a difference for that one"!
