HINDRAF - Hindu Rights Action Force

At first, I don't really give a damn about the riot but something really captured my attention, that is a class action on behalf of Malaysian Indians was filed in London to sue the UK government for US$4 Trillion (US$1 Millon for every Indian) for bringing Indians as indentured laborers into Malaya years ago before our independence. A petition was signed by more than 100 000 Indians to be presented to Queen Elizabeth of UK to argue on the case.

HINDRAF usually held their rally every Sunday at the British High Commission. Malaysian police refused to grant the rally thus set up roadblocks in Klang valley mainly in front of KLCC to indentify the troublemaker. Kiranya you can say ini "perhimpunan haram"!

The first rally was joined by an estimated of 20 000 Indians near the KLCC. The police and firemen has to use tear gas and water canon to disperse the crowd. 136 people were arrested.

HINDRAF later claimed that they have faxed a petition. However, the British later informed that they didn't receive any petition from HINDRAF but had received some unspecified information by fax.

Our prime minister has warn the demonstrator but promised that he will listen to everyone even if they have unpleasant words to say.

I SAY: Just cut the whole crap! US$1 million for each Indians? Are they out of their mind?? I mean, if you want to have a good life (not to mention, rich), kerjalah...bukan lepak sana sini!
