Have you watch "The Invasion"?

Yesterday, just watched “The Invasion”, starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, at TGV Balakong, around 9.20pm till 11.05pm (did anyone notice me?? no lah). I was really excited to watch it with my sister although the viewers were not that many, but who cares. We were at the middle seat, I think there were less than 30 people watching the movie and we’re both alone at the middle seat.

My sister bising-bising, thinking that it might be scary movie. But what I can say is that, if you like watching Resident Evil, then you will like this! But leave the gory and violent scene, you won’t find it here (although, a bit).

The story goes like this…(I’ll tell you in my own way la..very simple shj).

It’s about Dr. Brennel (Nicole Kidman), who is a psychiatrist and his son Oliver trying to get away from his ex-husband who is trying to get custody for Oliver. Her husband is working in a military, like the one studying about aliens and stuff, and has been infected by an orgasmic life, which he got it after injured himself touching a piece from a plane crash. He fell asleep and that’s when the orgasmic react (when people asleep, they started to change to somebody different). Somehow, they’ve changed people to be heartless and takde perasaan la kata orang. Her BF, Dr. Ben (Craig Daniel) was the one who helped her a lot but in the end pun kena gak disease tu..huhu.

In order for them to survive, Dr. Brennel and friends has to act like the infected breed, heartless, emotionless and keep a straight face. This zombie won’t blink or even sweat. If the breeds notice that you’re not infected, then you will be puke on and after you fall asleep, you became one of them. If you’re infected, don’t sleep!

In the movie, its been told that half of the population has been infected with the disease. The most gross part is when the infected human wanted to spread the disease is through puking at other people’s face/drink (yuck! Takde cara lain ke?). Unfortunately, Oliver is immune to the disease that this infected breed decided to kill him off. That’s when the chase begins.

Nicole Kidman really took her acting quite well as a protective mother who would do anything to save his son. I always like her movies, she does a lot of different part (like the one in The Others, where she played a ghost but didn’t know it – interesting eh? – go find it and watch - ****/5 star man!)

There’s a lot of heart racing scene and I must say that you must watch the movie. It’s not that bad and I give it ***/5 star. Go watch it!
