What a day...

I just want to blog fast. My eyes are all watery and red and I'm constantly yawning but I wanted to write something before I head to bed.

7.30am - my car broke down. Thankfully the mechanic shop is nearby. Thank GOD!

SHIT!

9.00am - We have customer's audit today from Safeskin@Kimberly Clarkson (Thailand). There were 2 engineers came and I have to fetch them and bring them to my factory in Kajang.

12.30pm - Me, Anny and Fion went to lunch early as Patricia's inform that Logistic Worldwide Solutions, from Singapore, will dropped by to interview us for their quest in search of Asia's first sole distributors for their Cleanroom machines. Note: Notice that we're wearing Blue color today??

Mr. Dermlim Verapan - can't understand a single word he's saying

Mr. Wisunokorn - very quiet (cos Verapan said he cannot speak English (duh!)

8.30pm - Left the restaurant and they headed to their hotel, Cititel Hotel Midvalley. Tomorrow will be another long day for us!

Jude - Kick start finalist

Dear readers,

Meet Jude Benjamin, one of the Kick start finalist on TV3 every 11am, Sunday. His dream is to open a cheerleading academy. He's a cheerleading coach and he teaches a few schools in KL. Today is his first episode on TV but he mentioned to me earlier that he is one of the top 3 finalists. How did he get it? Well, unfortunately, he asked me to watch the show to figure. Darn! Haha

I knew this guys for quite sometime now and he's a very nice, bubbly person. Met him again at LQ last Friday. The next day he will be in Malacca parade for a cheerleading show. A few minutes ago he sms'es me that the crowd was great and the show was cool :-)

Kak Ti

Kak Ti just got back from Jakarta yesterday after a week of holiday. Me and Baby met her at Bangsar Village II @ Delicious where she shared her experiences during her stay.

Kak Ti - sharing her experiences

It's a humble experience where Jakarta was not as heaven as Malaysia. People there tried to sell almost anything and do everything in order to survive. Kak Ti said that even when she caught in traffic jam, people would came up to her and try to sell foods, souvenirs. She said that her most memorable experience was where she met a young transvestite sang a song to her using a bottles caps as music instrument, just to get some money. The drag said that she haven't ate in a few days. How touching! People are suffering out there and we're so lucky to live in Malaysia. Some people never know how to appreciate the life they are having rite now. What a waste!!!

Baby was paying full attention to Kak Ti's stories

Thanks Kamal for the chocolates - Kal pun dapat

Kal yang masih terbongkang atas tilam (oops! sexy plak)

It's been a month since we last hang out. Me, Kal and Kamal went to LQ last nite and it was superb. Suprisingly, the crowd were not as packed as usual, so LQ wasn't that hot. Kal said that maybe because today Air Asia is having an interview for cabin crew intake - no wonder la. After LQ, we went to Kamal's place and 'lepak' at the mamak stall - Kal was exhausted so the 3 of us went to Kamal's house for a rest...

Health Care Show 2008

Me and Anny went to KL convention centre this afternoon after my lady boss went beserk when she knew that we haven't made a move to KL yet. I remember that she told us to "Use your common sense! Why need to wait until late afternoon to go?? Now, get out from this office!"...hehe...Anny was suprised on Patricia's (my boss) behaviour. She has never been scold by her before (welcome to the CLUB, Anny).

Anyway, we arrived at KLCC at 2.00pm something (tak semayang jumaat la ari ni...malu sih) and went straight to KFC (on the way tak sempat lunch but at petrol station, sempat beli potato chips to alas perut). Anny knew that I was upset so KFC was the best problem solver at that moment :-)

The exhibition was dull! Not many attended the event so were lucky not to meet with competitors. We've managed to get a few contacts for our company, some which is not related to our products (duh!) but still, it's a good exposure. But we noticed that the Indian group were quite 'sombong' so we didn't try to approach further, eventho we've mentioned that our products exported to overseas. But the Chinese man were quite friendly but language is the biggest barrier. Taiwanese, OKlah. Their English is not bad. Then Turkey was friendly too. The Germans, hmm...Oklah but a lot of them sells machine so it's not related to us.

Oh well, that's all for today!

Ning's latest CD

Without hesitation, I picked up the CD and paid at the cash register counter, RM 39.90. The CD ROCKS!!! And Ning rocks too.
I've read in Mr. Manager's blog that the CD will be distributed in Klang valley first and the rest of the nation a day or two later.

My favourite tracks are:

2. Real Man-Eater
3. Sharpening Your Blade
4. Age of Pollution
8. Again
9. A Matter of Time
10. Senseless and Blind
11. Mother
12. Drama

Red mice

***Thanks for the cute mouse, Anny! Fion's got it too. Ya'll must be wondering why the hell she'd gave us this??? Well, Anny used to supply stationary to big companies and this was a complimentary from HP to her. She said that during her time there, she received a lot of gifts from her customers. Lucky girl, rite?

Guests from Texas

Left to right: Mr. Bing Shen, Mr. Albert Excusa and my boss, Patricia.

If you could read my mind. You might see more of me that meets the eye. And you've been all wrong. Not who you think I am. You've never given me a chance. - Outside looking in (Jordan Pruitt)

It was 5.30pm when we ended the meeting. My stomach was growling; my head was spinning and my body ached all over - that was just a sign to say that "you're tired". I couldn't believe it that my boss customer's (Texas Instruments Incorporated) from Dallas, Texas came today and I had to join the meeting. Why I was not informed earlier? My boss, Patricia gave me last minute drafts and I had to do a short presentation soon after. But it doesn't end there. I thought Richard, my Marketing Manager, was presenting the corporate company presentation but I was wrong. He was packing his stuff as he wanted to catch his flight to Germany. I was like, SHIT! I didn't have my lunch. That one hour (1pm - 2pm) was used to reply my emails. I admit that I'm so damn tired now but when the meeting wrapped, I have a feeling that we might get the project. Wish us luck!

After the meeting...the table looks_______(fill in the blanks)

p/s: Tomorrow will be another long day for us (sigh)...

Window shopping and jalan-jalan cari makan

Dear readers,

Aiyaa...It's been so long-la since I last updated my blog. Sorry guys but nothing interesting that I can share with ya'll loyal reader ;-). How's your weekend? Mine was superb! Today, me and Baby went to Midvalley for window shopping and some real shopping (tee...hee..). As usual, we were stuck in the car park basement for 1/2 hour before finally got into parking. Gosh, these people never know when to stop! Although the basement has been developed into a 3 floors down parking lots but it's never enough. I think Malaysian still prefer Midvalley than the rest, like Pavillion, KLCC, etc, don't you think?

Our first spot was the handphone exhibition where you can see the latest in trend of mobiles in market. Some that has been marketed here and some, perhaps, coming soon. I just had a new phone so wasn't that interested. So Baby took my hand and we went to M.A.C instead. She was looking for a lipstick for her upcoming dinner this 21st March. Yeah, I was kinda bored that nothing I can find suitable for myself but perhaps, the concealer looks interesting - especially when those days you had a big date a zit pop out! But, no-lah...Maybe later. Baby finally found her perfect shade and went straight to the cash register.

Along the way, we've met REM, my friend when I was working in Secret recipe during my semester break, at Watsons. As you can see, he's all in makeup and stuff. No suprise there. He's actually a cross-dresser, mind you.

REM: Nyah, ko buat apa kat sini?
Me: Lor, REM ke? Ingatkan sapa td...Keje sini ker?
REM: Yelah nyah. Ko kan tau mak ni tak suka stay satu tempat keje lama2...
Me: Oh ye ke? Sbg apa?
REM: Beauty advisor, boleh gitew? Semua kedai ni mak yg punya...haha
Me: Eloklah tu. Wah, makin lawa skang ni?
REM: Mak pakai susuk nyah!
Me: Dashyat, tetek pun dah besar.
REM: Biasalah mak. Datang ngan sapa tu? Girlfriend ke?
Me: Adiklah tu. Nampak cam GF ke?
REM: Ah ah...Kelassss...

I didn't want to further the conversation as people were looking at us...hehe...

Baby wanted to go to Bangsar Village and I suggested that we go to Delicious, a restaurant recommended by our cousin and also, Mr. Manager himself. I must agree that the Spaghettini was absolutely delicious. It's like what Mr. Manager mentioned is his blog, thinner spaghetti with shredded roasted duck serve with dried tomatoes and coriander. This place is highly recommended! The price is okay-la, not too expensive but I like the decor. Perhaps, I should bring my frens here one day. What do you say guys?

Till we meet again!
