I just bought these cds and here are my reviews of what I think of the albums.

After her concert few weeks ago, I must say that I'm hooked with some of her songs. This is her best album so far. You won't find yourself pressing the 'next' button, I guess.

One Republic debut album is overall an excellent album. However, it is hard not to compare them with Coldplay.

The Pussycat Dolls are back with a much matured album. If you're looking for songs like their previous hit, "Beep", "Buttons" - you won't find it here but still, it's a solid and enjoyable album.

* Whatcha Think About That - feat. Missy Elliot
* I Hate This Part
* Magic

And if you buy their deluxe edition, you can listen to each of the dolls sing. I like Ashley Roberts - Played - very infectious.

Tahun ni buat pertama kalinya yus beraya single. Dulu ada gak somebody yg temankan tp tahun ni nampaknya yus beraya bersama keluarga and kawan2 jer. Sedih gak but nk buat camne.

Ayah yus pula tak dpt bersama tahun ni since dia terpaksa bekerja tapi alhamdulillah sempat gak bersalaman and bermaafan di pagi raya ni.

Anyway, yus sempat snap beberapa gambar utk tatapan uols.

Womanizer

"Womanizer" was written and recorded for her forthcoming sixth studio album, Circus, due on 2nd December this year and released as the lead single off the album. A week before the official premiere, on September 19, 2008 a low quality 40-second clip from "Womanizer" was leaked via Youtube. Jive later released a statement to MTV stating that the clip was from the "rough mix" of the track, not the finalized single.

Pink did it again with So What, her latest single from her upcoming album "Funhouse" expected to release this 30th October worldwide. I'm a big Pink's fan since her Mizunderstood album. On So What, Pink gets real once again but this time it’s infused with her trademark humor as evidenced by such funny-honest lyrics as “I guess I just lost my husband/I don’t know where he went/So I’m gonna drink my money/I’m not gonna pay his rent.”

Breakup song has never been this good. I've listen to her for a number of years now and her songs have helped me get thru some tough crap in my life...

Sony w910i in HEARTY RED

Finally got it today!
Merah juga pilihan yus since yus rasa color dia mmg stand out abis. Got it for RM 900++ and yus dpt satu thumbdrive Sony warna merah gak and memory card 1GB. Cool abis...hehe. Skang ni masih belek2 lg function dia cos mcm lain sikit from the usual Sony Ericsson.

It's a wicked phone and I love it! Paling best feature 'shake control'. User can shake the phone while pressing the walkman key and a vibrate will let them know that a new song has been selected randomly from the user's playlist.

I'm so DAMN tired ;-0 !

FYI, I have not transferred (the 'humble' word for promotion, I guess) to electrical department yet. Kak Zie won't let me go until she finds a suitable replacement. My boss has given her a week to find someone to help her. Pity Kak Zie...Itulah sebab kenapa yus berat hati nk tinggalkan leader yus yg sorang ni...(sigh)...Yeah, susah lah cos I'll always think about others but do they think about me? Ye, kot! But entahla...

Rite now, I'm walking back and forth helping Kak Zie to follow certain Pioneer models and Kak Syikin (who will be my new superior) for electrical job. I've been explained that mostly my job will requires me to do lots of report and forecast. I will be chained to my desk the whole day. Kak Syikin dah ckp, - Ko tolonglah Kak Zie until this week jer but next week, akak tak nk dia kacau ko lagi sbb akak nk ko concentrate on forecast. Ada yg bertanya, yus tak bosan ke nanti? We'll see...

Ari ni yus buka puasa dgn Song kt luar. Lama sungguh rasanya tak jumpa mamat sorang ni. Lega rasa bila dpt share some probs ngan dia. At least someone's shoulder to cry on ;-). It's really good to see you, Song.

Boo-yeah

Do you ever have a day where you wanted to jump from your office seat and scream your lungs out, because half of your burden has lessen? Well, that was me today!!!!

Remember my last post where I bitch about my boss? Eventually, things wasn't that bad. You know, today I've been offered another task (but still within my PC dept) to control electrical components. The parts is long lead time parts and my job is to prepare forecast to all PC members before they can issue their PCB (that's Printed Circuit Board, mind you!) to final line and proceed with sholdering process. Without my components, the remote con is useless.

I was offered because the new candidate cannot cope up with the hectic schedule and was fresh grad student. They need someone who understands the system well but still can develop skills. That's why they didn't offer it to other seniors. Official announcement will be next Monday. Wish me luck ok. Gosh, can't wait!

Till then, gotta go now...

Pekerja panik tidak bawa MyKad

Tudung biru tu, namanya Kak Aziyati. Yang belakang pakai tudung merah tu Kak Rohaida and sebelah tu Mr. Mohan...hehe.

I burst with laughter when I read one of the Utusan Malaysia's article titled "Pekerja panik tidak bawa MyKad". If you see the pic carefully, does the uniform looks familiar? Course the article was referring to my company.

"Difahamkan memang menjadi kebiasaan pekerja tempatan di kilang itu tidak membawa MyKad ketika datang bekerja" is such a crap. Just because one worker was caught without her IC doesn't mean that the whole employees affected?

Tapi serbuan tu actually di buat oleh jabatan Imigresen yg nk tangkap pekerja2 asing tanpa permit. But all went well since nobody was caught yesterday.

Inilah member rapat yus wat masa sekarang ni. Namanya Tan Kian Sin tp yus panggil Tan jer. Dia baru jer masuk minggu lepas tp disebabkan dia ni peramah orangnye, so cepatlah kitaorg mesra. SELAMAT BERPUASA

Well, bulan puasa menjelma lagi. Hari ni, Isnin, adalah hari pertama seluruh umat Islam berpuasa. Tiap2 tahun, yus sekeluarga menyambutnya dgn sederhana sahaja (tak elok membazirkan?). Tp kadang2 tu bila ke bazaar Ramadhan beli tak ingat gak. Yelah, sbb kita membeli time perut tgh lapar. That's why sapa2 yg shopaholic tu (cam yus ni!), dinasihatkan utk makan dulu before bershopping...haha. Apapun, berbelanjalah secara sederhana ok.


Time bersahur la yg susah sgt yus nk bgn. Kadan2 mak terpaksa ketuk pintu 2-3kali br bgn. Biasanya kami di sini bgn dalam jam 5.00am. Korang plak? Biasanya lauk pauk utk bersahur tu tinggalan malam sebelumnya or kalo dah malas sgt, yus mkn biskut or roti jer. Kalo adik yus plak, itu tak mkn, ini tak makan, takde selera la, apa la...Kesian kt mak yus cos terpaksa la masak apa2 yg segera nk beri adik makan.


Thn ni berpuasa di tempat baru and habis keje dalam pukul 5.00pm. Dapatlah blk awal and sediakan apa2 yg patut. Esok dah mula keje dah. Can't wait...

Selamat Hari Merdeka
Harapan yus: Moga2 negara kita aman selalu!

Ke mana korang time cuti2 ni? Tentu ada yg balik ke kampung masing2 jumpa family tercinta and tak lupa juga yg terpaksa bekerja time holiday ni. Sabar byk2 ye! Yus duduk umah jer and maybe esok terasa mcm nk keje buat OT tp masih fikir lg. Yelah since yus ada benda nk kejar deadline. Ingat mlm nanti yus nk sms Kak Zie la tanya perlu tak yus datang esok. If not, yus akan just lepak kt umah jer since next week will be another busy week for me (every week mana pernah tak bz, dik ooi).

Esok plak seluruh umat Islam akan berpuasa. Time ni lah yus akan gunakan peluang sebaiknya utk berdiet...wakakaka. Seperti tahun2 sebelumnya, inilah azam yus. Walaupun kakak yus kata dah ok dah tp sikit jer lg utk mencapai goal weight yus. Yup, dalam beberapa bln ni berat yus byk dah turun. Frust ke? Macam tu la kot tp if it's for the best, lebih baik begitu...kan?

Avril ROCKS!

GUESS WHAT? Me and my sis menang peraduan Avril Hotlink zone ari tu and kitaorg dapat 2 tiket berharga RM 188 setiap satu ke konsertnye smlm. Orang ramai giler ok kt Stadium Merdeka semalam and dah ramai yg tunggu seawal 6.30pm. Konsert bermula dalam jam 9.00pm.

Yus ngan baby tunggu kakak kitaorg, Kak Ti ngan kawan dia but diaorg sangkut kt traffic jam plak. Diaorg bkn kongsi tiket ngan kitaorg tau (motiff???) tapi awal2 lagi diaorg dag beli tiket.

Hujan turun renyai2 dalam kul 7.30pm tu but ramai tak berganjak dari tmpt masing2. Team Hotlink dgn segera membawa beberapa guni bag berisi baju ujan plastik utk diberikan pada penonton...hehe. Nasib tmpt kitaorg ni berbumbung, if not sama2 basah!

Tepat jam 9.00pm, konsert bermula dgn lagu Girlfriend. Penonton turut sama bersorak sambil menyanyi. Kitaorg kt tmpt duduk pun apa lagi, berdiri sama cos nk enjoy lagu tersebut. Banyak lagu2 rancak malam smlm but my fav, When you're gone mmg SUPERB!!! Avril can play the piano very well and I had goosebumps.

Overall, show smlm mmg enjoy walaupun vokal Avril was nothing to shout about. Tapi tak byk beza di luar dan di album. I know, ramai yg berpuas hati smlm. Yus sempat beli CD "The best damn thing" kt dpn kaunter since diaorg jual RM 35 satu kan...hehe and adik yus dapat poster and booklet...Awesome!

Avril Lavigne lookalike contest

My sister and I joined the Avril Lavigne Hotlink Zone contest on HOT magazine. The winner will get 2 tickets to watch her concert at Stadium Merdeka this 28th worth RM 376. How? All you need to do is take a picture of you in your most creative Avril inspired outfit and mms to 22022. You can dress up like her or play punk princess, so my sis decided to funk her style up. These are the pics that we've sent, hoping that one of it is chosen ;-D

Just Married! - Kak Siti Norliza and Abg Zainal

Hari sabtu yang agak memenatkan! Siang tadi, yus keje wat OT sikit half day sampai 12pm and then yus bersama 4 kereta lagi berkonvoi ke umah kak Siti Norliza di Hulu Langat cos ada kenduri kawin. Dalam umur yg dah mencecah 40thn tu, tak sangka kawin jugak dia. Tahniah ye kak Siti. Ramai jugak warga SMK yang dtg. Walaupun sederhana tapi tetap meriah. Apapun, kak Siti dah promise nk citer pengalaman malam pertama nanti...oops!

Then, on the way balik, kitaorg singgah kt Sungai Gabai. Cantik betul air terjunnye...Rasa nk gi lagi la. Sayang bebenor tak bwk baju and seluar spare sbb ingatkan nk kenduri. Tak sangka plak kakak2 ni siap bwk baju mandi utk anak2. Air mmg sejuk and yus sempat rendam kaki jer. Tak lama kitaorg kt situ, hujan turun dgn lebatnya.

Sampai rumah dalam kul 5.00pm terus tido...ZZZZZZZZZ

DHL facility tour

I just got back from DHL facility tour today. I went there with my superiors from different depts, Izuddin-san and Mazlan-san. Our journey started at 9.45am in the morning and my first destination was at the 'menara TM' in Jalan Bangsar. There, we were briefly introduced about DHL background. It was quite boring since everyone was looking forward for lunch time.

We had lunch at the sky garden at 27th floor and the menu for today was irresistable. I had grilled lamb with curry chicken. Yummy!!!

Afterwards, we visited the Subang airport, one of DHL hubs in Asia. We had a close watch on the plane used to courier all our goods, parcels, docs to all over the world, from small planes to the big one.

Our final destination was at DHL, Shah Alam near Glenmarie. Here is where all the docs and parcels will be labelled and scanned before the trucks pick it up.

It was quite an exhausting but amazing experience and we had some precious moments, which I think a lot of you don't really know about courier service. Cool...

Shopping lagi...

I bought myself a bottle of SK-II essence and also perfume by Body Shop yesterday at Midvalley. I used to use SK-II before and my skin really transform but it was 2 years back. I stop for awhile since I couldn't afford to buy it and need to save some money. But now, since my financial is back on track, this was the first thing that I wanted to do after I broke up and only now I've achieved to do so.

I also did some window shopping for my dinner attire this coming November and has come up with my own ideas of what I wanted to wear during that nite. How am I goin to put it together? Will update about it more later on...Bye2
