This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming.

For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.

This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard.

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday.

We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations.

Logitech V150

I just bought this laser precision mice for RM 75 (real price was RM 85 - ada kedai yg jual sampai RM 90). Dah lama duk perhatikan benda ni cuma I've been looking for best bargain and now got it without hesitation. The mice delivers smoother cursor control on virtually any surface - trust me!

It comes with an USB extender, user guide manual and also software cd-rom. Best bit? The color matches my VAIO laptop very well, hehe...

Tenda

Huhu...yus dah tukar router ni from Aztech to Tenda semlm cos tetiba tiang receiver dia longgar and takleh terima signal langsung. Nasib baik yus masih simpan resit, cuma harga dia RM 118 so kena tambah sikit. But truthfully, kalo sapa2 yg nk dptkan wireless router ni, beli jer brand Tenda, kalo cari yg affordable-lah. Seriusly, it took me 10minutes jer utk install, and mmg mudah nk faham arahannye.

Notebook accessories

I just bought these 2 new tech stuff.

A notebook cooling fan pad - very cool and durable!

Aztech wireless router.

It costs me only RM 109. Quite cheap compare to others but very hard to understand the installation process...hmm. Some more, it took me almost 1 hour ++ to complete the set up...sigh!

My New Toy...

AT LAST! It's the NEW Sony Vaio NS series, all mine!!! Pretty cool and stylish laptop, huh? This one mmg sama mcm Kal punya. It's a granite silver in color, with textured surface. I think it is much better than those glossy top cover finishes on laptops which sometimes you can see your fingerprints on top - disgusting! Some more, textured surface like this mengurangkan lagi risiko bercalar, which is just awesome...It's thin and not too bulky!

More importantly, the keyboard is the same flat Sony keyboard, the keys are flat-similar in feel to a Macbook's. The touch pad too, is comfortable and amply sized with responsive vertical and horizontal scroll areas along the right and bottom, respectively.

Overall, yus mmg suka and berpuas hati dgn show Jason Mraz yg selamba tu and byk lagu2 yg best and catchy. Kalo sempat, yus akan cuba donlod kt youtube and uols boleh tgk skali, k.

Streamyx In A Box

Yay! Dah pasang streamyx dah. Self installation tau...Jimat RM 88, hehehe...So far mmg laju bila buka surf tenet. Most importantly, tak suddenly disconnected cam Maxis broadband. Anyway, will make a review about this product and package later ok.

Pasni cuma kena byr RM 60 jer tiap2 bulan and pakej ni pakej yg sama mcm Kamal. Murah sikit berbanding broadband - RM 78/month.

p/s: Ari ni yus cuti cos ada medical check up. Then yus ke Damansara ke Hot Publication cos nk collect something. Nk tahu apa? Tggu post esok, ok ;-)

Bdk2 ofis celebrate besday yus and Kak Salmiah since we all nye birthday jatuh sekali bulan ni. It was a nice choc cake Kak Jessie beli dari one of SMK's staff. Although it's not secret recipe's cake but yg penting, thanks atas ingatan ;-)

Jumaat - 27-Feb
Today's gaji!
Ari ni kena keje...huhu. Selama sebulan yus tak bekerja ari jumaat tetapi ari ni yus terpaksa bekerja. Why? Order byk dah masuk and silap2 we all semua dpt OT blk but semua under perancangan lagi. Eventho global economics masih tak pulih, yus bersyukur sgt cos masih ada kerja. Cuma byk yg short lead time order and susah sgt nk cope up ngan customer punya req since market demand is uncertain at this point.

Line telefon dah pasang dah. Rasanya next week org streamyx akan dtg bwk modem. Oh ye, yus dah nk terminate kontrak dgn Maxis Broadband dah. Tak berapa bagus sgt la reception dia kt kajang ni. Harap2 streamyx combo will be much better. Will update you guys later, ok?

As usual, bwk adik2 jejalan and makan2. First destination ke KLCC. But seriusly takde apa2 yg menarik but org ttp ramai. Then terus kitaorg ke midvalley and yus ada shopping sikit2.




Then, mlm tu yus lepak2 ngan Jeff bersama teman2 kt Bangi. Di sebabkan tak larat sgt, yus lepak umah dia jer.

Ahad - 1-Mac
Ari ni bangun lewat - semestinya la kan...hehe. Kitaorg terus ke warta kt Bangi tu and jumpa Nik. Si Nik ni bekerja utk satu salon and dia ada wat facial. Murah jer dlm RM30 (sorila takde gambar). Facial tu dlm 40 minit gaklah. Bestnye smpi tertido yus di buatnya.

Then, kitaorg jejalan kejap and then balik. Sampai jer umah, yus pun tido ler....
